Indrid Cold

Grinning Man

Indrid Cold, also known as the “Grinning Man,” is said to appear in the form of a tall, thin man wearing a black suit and possessing a strange, wide grin that seems to stretch from ear to ear.

The first recorded sighting of Indrid Cold occurred in 1966 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Two young boys reported encountering a strange man who seemed to be watching them from a nearby field. They described him as being tall and thin, with a glowing aura around his body. The man reportedly communicated with them telepathically, telling them not to be afraid and that he meant them no harm.

Over the following months, more and more people in the Point Pleasant area reported seeing the strange man in the black suit. He was said to appear suddenly and without warning, often accompanied by strange lights or unexplained phenomena. Witnesses reported feeling a sense of fear and unease in his presence as if they were being watched by an otherworldly being.

Some speculate that he may be an extraterrestrial or interdimensional being, while others believe he is a supernatural entity or a manifestation of human fears and anxieties.
