History

Edward Leedskalnin single-handedly built Coral Castle over the course of 28 years 1923 to 1951, using only handmade tools. The process Ed used to move and carve the 1100 tons of coral rock so precisely and effortlessly that something like a 9-ton gate can be moved with just a touch of the finger is a secret ED took with him to his grave. When asked about his methods Ed would only say that he knew “the secret of the pyramids”, leaving us to forever only speculate about one of the world’s greatest mysteries.
