Jersey Devil

According to legend, the Jersey Devil is said to inhabit the Pine Barrens region of southern New Jersey and has been described as a flying beast with hooves, wings, and a goat-like head.

The origins of the Jersey Devil legend date back to the early 18th century, with many stories being passed down through generations. The most popular version of the legend tells the story of a woman named Mother Leeds, who was said to have given birth to the creature after making a deal with the devil. It is said that the creature then flew out of the house and into the pines, where it has been spotted by locals ever since.
